With extensive experience leading security, and fire and safety operations throughout Europe and the UK, Shaun has a proven track record of driving strategy and delivering business transformation with a sharp focus on client engagement, protective services leadership, efficiency, and people.

Shaun has accelerated the drive to digitisation across the UK, embracing technology and innovation, to deliver Securitas’ vision to be a trusted intelligent protective services partner and create added value for clients.

Having initiated several people initiatives to promote good working conditions, fair wages, and opportunities for career development, Shaun has also personally driven the agenda to create a diverse and inclusive workplace in Securitas UK. And as a strong people leader, Shaun spends as much time as possible with ‘front-line’ officers to understand how to help them be successful in delivering a high-quality, professional, service to clients.

As an active member of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and the UK Security and Resilience Industry Suppliers Community (RISC), Shaun has a clear agenda to transform the perception of the security industry.

Shaun also works closely with the Security Industry Authority and the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), and has been heavily involved in UK fire contingency, UK crisis, and UK resilience planning, with an increased focus on these strategic initiatives throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Shaun has recently been appointed to the National Security Technology and Innovation Exchange (NSTIx) advisory panel which advises the NSTIx on how its activities can promote positive change across the wider National Security ST&I ecosystem. Shaun is a member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and a regular contributor of thought leadership content in industry-specific publications.

Prior to his appointment as Country President, Shaun held several executive positions in Securitas UK including Chief Operating Officer and more recently, Director of Specialist Protective Services.

This included responsibility for all regulated services including Aviation, Nuclear, Canine, Policing, Emergency Fire Crew Capability, and Fire & Safety, a specific area of specialism. In this role, Shaun also led the successful implementation of Securitas’ Fire & Safety strategy across Europe. Shaun’s extensive career in the security industry started with Chubb Security in 1997, following five years in the British Armed Forces.
