Michael has worked in the UK private security industry for 25 years and is a highly experienced security professional with extensive knowledge of operations, risk, compliance and assurance and complex contract mobilisation support encompassing corporate, aviation, retail and events security encompassing critical national infrastructure, blue chip corporate and retail clients and events such as The Commonwealth Games, Premier League football, Six Nations Rugby matches, major stadium concert events and festival events with up to 80,000 attendees.

Michael develops and builds trust and fosters effective teamwork in complex organisations through a combination of collaborative, partnership engagement with clients and the empowerment of colleagues.

Qualified in Security and Risk Management via the University of Leicester he also holds a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from St Andrews University, a PTTLS L4 training qualification and is a qualified ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor.

His memberships include the Security Institute, IFPO, The Institute of Leadership and Management, ASIS UK, the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (Fellow) and The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (Freeman of The City of London).
