Hamad Al-Melaihi has graduated from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals with a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. He also has a masters degree in Human Resources Development from Texas A&M. Hamad has several leadership and professional certifications including Executive Leadership from MIT, Project Management (PMP) and Professional Security Professional from ASIS International (PSP).

Hamad joined Aramco on 2008 as an Engineer and progressed within the company covering many positions. He was assigned to Aramco Americas during the period of 2013 to 2016 overseeing the development programs. On 2019, Hamad was assigned as Fire Protection Northern Remote Area Manager. He had worked in several areas such as Security Engineering, Security Systems Maintenance, Training, Fire Protection, Security Projects Execution and Security Operations. In 2023, he has been assigned as the Head of Industrial Security Operations Planning and Performance. Hamad also handles the role of ASIS Assistant Regional Vice President in the Middle East since 2023.
