Following a full military career Carl Dakin CSyP FSyI transitioned into the commercial environment in 2013 and established a small consulting business that provides protective security and emergency management services to clients worldwide. His skillset includes the delivery of tabletop exercises, training and education design and delivery, that has enabled him to continue his passion for learning and facilitating educational programmes whilst remaining current with industry best practices.

His experience is underpinned by solid academic qualifications: Foundation Degree in Protective Security Management, Master’s Degree in Business Continuity, Security & Emergency Management, Level 5 Certificate in Work Based Learning, as well as a suite of relevant vocational qualifications in health & safety, and crowd management. He is a Chartered Security Professional – admitted to the Register in 2017, a Fellow of the Security Institute.
