The Security Event and The Master Locksmiths Association Announce New Partnership

Taking place on 22-23 September at the UK security industry’s iconic home, NEC Birmingham, The Security Event has rapidly grown in popularity becoming the premier national security event in the UK for the commercial, enterprise and residential markets.

The Master Locksmiths Association (MLA) is the UK’s largest and longest established trade association in the UK for locksmiths, established to set and promote standards of conduct, practice and materials.  Standards of entry to the MLA are high and its motto of “Skill and Integrity” emphasise its determination to ensure that the public, government and industry receive the correct service and advice on security matters from its members.

The Security Event continues to attract significant interest and support marking a major shift in the UK Security event landscape. Hosted at the NEC Birmingham, truly engaging with the entire UK market, The Security Event is firmly establishing itself as the industry’s favourite event.

Steffan George, Managing Director of the Master Locksmith Association commented ““We are delighted to be supporting The Security Event. It provides the MLA with a great opportunity to continue to promote itself within the industry, whilst also giving MLA members an opportunity to learn more about the wider security industry and speak to suppliers in areas they may not have previously considered, take part in the training seminars and network with like-minded professionals. Whilst the MLA has a national membership, the MLA’s new Headquarters are located in Rugby meaning the NEC is an ideal location for us and we look forward to seeing members at the event.”

Tristan Norman, Group Exhibition Director comments: “We are thrilled to be working with such an organisation as the MLA who are so embedded within the sector and who are passionate about championing the professionalism with UK security sector.  The MLAs contribution to our sector is outstanding with their product testing through ‘Sold Secure’, training courses and contribution to British Standards”

Norman concludes “this is further demonstration of our commitment to the UK security market, along with other new partnerships, reinforces the added value of the event as a must-attend exhibition in the UK for commercial, enterprise and residential security.”
