Oprema are partnering with environmental organisation Ecologi to offset our carbon footprint and become climate positive on our outbound shipping.

So, what does that mean?

For each delivery we make, we’re investing in carbon credits to offset the exact greenhouse gases emitted, as well as funding global tree-planting projects to ensure additional carbon reduction for years to come. These projects are organised and located all over the world; They are all audited by Eden Reforestation Projects. It all matters!

In supporting these schemes, we not only get to account for our impact and achieve carbon neutrality in our outbound shipping, but also to work towards a carbon positive future for a greener approach to business all-round!

Working with Ecologi also means supporting the rural communities most affected by climate change. Ecologi aims to provide consistent fair wage employment to impoverished villages through forest protection and agricultural work, allowing locals to support themselves and their homeland for generations to come.
