With the Turnitec any gate manufacturer can now make a high quality and maintenance free turnstile. He
now has an (electro)mechanical unit at its disposal and he can match the design of his turnstile with the
design of his gates.
The Turnitec mechanism is applicable to any turnstile and a fast installation is guaranteed. Thanks to the
100% modular (electro)mechanical design, one can compose the system by the wishes of each individual
client. The optional damping system guarantees a comfortable and safe working, unaffected by temperature
changes. A wide range of combinations is possible, here are two possible configurations:
Mechanical control : This version offers the advantage that it can work 100% autonomous without the supply
of electricity and or communication cables. The release or closing of a rotational direction is easily done
by means of a key contact. People can access or leave the terrain through the turnstile by pushing the arms
of the turnstile.
Electromechanical control: With the electromechanical version the operator has the possibility to intelligently
control the in- and outflow. Opening and closing, rotational direction and access control can all be controlled
with a simple push on the button. The turnstile is unlocked and allows access to the terrain or building after
authorization by the visitor.

A 100% safety is guaranteed with minimum staff costs. Fail-open and Fail-close settings are both possible and
all modules can be combined. One can put a mechanical module for exit control and an electromechanical
module for control over the entrance. Or one can simply install the base module which allows the turnstile to
rotate freely in both directions.
