Extreme Distances

VARIO2 delivers world-leading power and illumination distances, that can improve the performance of any video surveillance system at night.

We achieve illumination distances of up to 500m (1,640ft) with our Infra-Red units, or up to 250m (820ft) with our White-Light variants, whilst utilising Platinum Elite SMT LED technology to maximise performance and reliability.

Extreme Durability

VARIO2 Extreme is rated for use in the harshest environmental conditions, including IP67 and IK09, and increased temperature ratings (-50° to +75°C (-58 to 167°F)) compared to the standard VARIO2 products, as well as increased protection against salinity, humidity, and vibration.

VARIO2 Extreme also features the ATC function, which means if the illuminator is operating at an ambient temperature greater than +50°C, the illuminator will automatically adjust the LED intensity to maintain its optimal temperature, preventing freezing and overheating.

Extreme Flexibility

VARIO2 Extreme delivers great flexibility with the ability to adjust the angle of illumination easily, quickly and precisely by changing the VARIO holographic lens insert to match the specific camera field of view.

Offering a highly diffused, elliptical beam shape, VARIO2 Extreme, delivers more light where needed, minimising light wastage and preventing over-exposure of foreground objects.
