Our passive fused wire division multiplexers combine a wideband 1310nm signal, between 1260-1360nm, with a CWDM pass channel of 1460-1620nm. These are sent over a single Common port along a singlemode fibre.

Another multiplexer is used on the receive end which splits the signals back out into their respective channels and can be patched into separate systems.

The use of SC/APC fibre connections are best practice when using fibre optic multiplexing and should be deployed through the system to avoid any unwanted reflections. We can however customise the product to your specifications to include any termination.

The multiplexers come in 3 form factors, DIN mounted, 3U Subrack mounted (taking up 5HP space) and mountable in our 19” modular 1U patch panel frame, for server and control room environments where high density is required.

Our system has reduced the risk for customers switching over legacy systems and reduced the reliance on new fibre routes being laid, speeding up deployment time and capex.

All our systems are, at a minimum, industrially rated to provide excellent performance across a multitude of environments and use cases.
